Visual Worlds for Music: 3-Hour Creative Intensive, 1- 4 pm EST; recorded version also available after the class. Curious about creating immersive worlds for music, film, theater, or your own art practice? This three-hour intensive is an introduction to my creative process—one I've developed over years designing tours, stage shows, installations, projections, and music videos. Together we'll explore how memory, emotion, color, sound, and storytelling can become visual worlds. Through drawing, collage, writing prompts, and creative exercises, you'll develop a unique concept inspired by a single piece of music. Whether you're an artist, musician, designer, filmmaker, writer, or simply looking to reconnect with your creativity, this workshop is designed to help you generate ideas in a playful, supportive environment. No production or design experience is necessary. During the intensive we'll explore: Finding inspiration through music, memory, and emotion Developing a visual language through color, texture, and shape Concept development and visual storytelling Creating mood boards and sketches Translating ideas into immersive environments An introduction to stage, installation, and experiential design You'll leave with: A completed creative concept Mood board and visual references Sketches and notes to continue developing your project New creative exercises you can return to anytime If you decide to join the full 4-week Visual Worlds for Music workshop, $100 from your intensive registration will be applied toward the course.
